A full sized color photograph of the stitched design glued to a foam board - is on one side - with the stitch-painted needlepoint canvas on the other - the wool fibers rest on the chart - between - inside a foam box - all wrapped in a resealable plastic folder with holes to breath.

These absolutely fascinating designs make lovely pillow inserts as well as rug panels to be joined together endlessly.

If you plan to stitch a rug ( or carpet ) - we encourage the acquisition of all the kits at once - to insure that the dye lots of our tapestry yarn match to perfection.

Memling Gul - as we call this medium size adaptation - resembles tiles - which creates an extremely attractive optical illusion. For Pillows - we find the raw silks - cut on a bias - to compliment these designs with a more contemporary feel. Make your finishing pattern on tissue paper - it is very simple - just add 1/2 inch to the drawn patterns - for the seams. Stark white or black - will also make striking back-drop colors !!
