A full sized color photograph of the stitched design glued to a foam board - is on one side - with the stitch-painted needlepoint canvas on the other - the wool fibers rest on the chart - between - inside a foam box - all wrapped in a resealable plastic folder with holes to breath.

Memling Gul design may be joined together to create a rug or carpet of the desired sizes. The needlepoint panels may be stitched together at the edges of the central motifs and will not show at the joining seams.

The Geometric Needlepoint designs are based on a Hans Memling Painting from 1485. Combine the different sizes of this collection into needlework pillows - for a stunning combination. Choose any of the wool colors to select your backing fabrics.

We recommend these needlepoint pillow kits to be finished as an insert in a raw silk tapestry material backing - depending on the size you would like the finished pillow or cushion - simply adjust the *mat* surrounding the worked piece.

The Geometric Patterns successfully follow the basic rule that all ornament should be based upon geometrical construction. Harmony of form consists in the proper balancing - and contrast of the straight - the inclined and the curved.
