A full sized color photograph of the stitched design glued to a foam board - is on one side - with the stitch-painted needlepoint canvas on the other - the wool fibers rest on the chart - between -- inside a foam box - all wrapped in a resealable plastic folder with holes to breath.

The original Needlework Tapestry was discovered as an extremely worn chair seat cover - in an antique dealers shop.
We were commissioned to reproduce the design into a graph / chart - and did so with the agreement that we could offer this striking reproduction within our product line. The handmade chart was created - counting each dot repeatedly - and working the new reproduction - slowly - meticulously - until one half was created.
We then dyed wool fibers to match the worn outside rather than the screaming - bold Napoleon Empire Colors of the original - seen on the inside. We feel fortunate to have discovered this magnificent design and to keep it *alive*.
The reproduction process took over three months of dedicated time to complete. We have finished developing this tapestry with a black background - lightening the inner most scrolls.
